Also they said that they call it a ¨constancia de datos registrales¨ but it´s the same thing as the ¨constancia de antecedentes registrales¨. And they said that it would be ready in 3-5 days.

Yes they really need to change the website! The proof of address was in my husband´s mother´s name. So it has one of his last names on it. It was fine they said. I think they don´t really care about whose name is on it. On the website it says: ¨Comprobante de domicilio a nombre del...

    Mexico police certificates: Experiences?

hi! are you talking about the state ones or the PGR one. The state ones are pretty easy to get and the federal (PGR) ones seem pretty straightforward as well but take 10 days. You can get all the requirements on the website. They have even opened some offices in other states of mexico in...

Just called the PGR in Veracruz and they said that we can get it from here! So that´s good news. Still takes 10 days though. Now we just have to wait for the letter from the embassy to go get it. I am kind of getting worried about the letter. It´s been about a month since they said they sent it!

I think the DHL envelope is sent to the embassy so that the embassy can send the letter requesting the PGR to you more quickly. Because to get the PGR you need the letter from the embassy. How long did it take you to get your letter?

I didn´t know you could send a prepaid DHL envelope....If it works for you let me know! Cause I still haven´t received the official letter for PGR! It´s been almost a month now!! I emailed the embassy last week to let them know we haven´t received anything, since it takes them so long to answer!

oh that is just awful! I have had a few comments from people in Canada about this stuff too! But these people will never know what it´s like until they find themselves in a similar situation! And I would like to think that the people who go through all of this visa stuff will have a better...

LOL. He made us all paranoid because he was asking my husband all these questions and when he asked if he had any conditions my husband said he had asthma but that it hasn´t acted up in several years. When he heard the word ¨asthma¨ he paused for really long and stared at him for several...
