Experience Letter - Job Description copy paste from NOC description on Internet

There are people in the forums who have got their PR with copy-pasted description. Copy paste reduces the legitimacy which might be a cause of rejection especially in the presence of other factors but saying 'of course the visa office will reject' is far from truth and is misinformation.

Effects of skills, level of education, and expertise on EE application

Arrgghhh!! This is a very valid point. The thing is that any large scale public system like immigration would have people who are wrongly shortchanged. It is almost impossible to have a perfectly designed system which works for everybody. Sometime these flaws contradict very fundamental...

AOR in January 2017 - Connect Here!

Good question! I wonder what happens in the case of death of primary applicant and no representative is appointed? (I have no intention to find that out for myself)

LOE Very Similar to NOC Job and Responsibilities HELP

I submitted my application last week with copy pasted NOC (I thought that would be safer!), and this thread scares me now. I did submit offer letter, salary slips etc. too plus this was with a very very well reputed and big organisation, so I don't know if that'll help or not. I found cases...

AOR in January 2017 - Connect Here!

Hello. I just got my AOR. So I guess I'm officially in the club now ;D There was so much anxiety about getting the ITA, arranging docs etc. etc. , I cannot handle any more anxiety about status updates on my application and stuff. I'm just gonna relax and switch off for at least 3-4 months...

anyone who scored 10 or more in celpip ??? plz help

I scored L-11, R-12, S-11,W-11. Probably this is not what you want to hear, but the thing is that you can improve your score only marginally given the short time span. This doesn't mean that practice doesn't help. A 8 can easily become 10 with some good planning and practice. For instance, in...

    Insufficient fund issue **Please help**

I believe there's a way out in that case. Here is a person who was able to get around this successfully : http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/does-cic-accept-proof-of-funds-on-spouse-name-t409757.0.html;msg5123474#msg5123474

    Insufficient fund issue **Please help**

Okay, so I am a bit confused. Is it not ok to show partner's bank statement as a POF, as long as they are a co-applicant, and gives a statement saying that the funds are for PR purpose? I think that is much simpler than getting a gift deed done.

Yes, you are right. I thought you had originally calculated for express entry applications.

    ~~RAY of HOPE 51st Draw~~ (Predictions)

This is great info! However, I think the number of pending applications are 14287 (3971 + 1704 + 8612) for FSW,FST, and CEC respectively. The reduction in backlog in staggering though, which means more applications to be drawn from the express entry pool. Another nice fact to note is that the...

I do not think you need to give the precise address while filling up the travel history section. They only ask the country and the region you had visited.

Any experience with medical inadmissibility? What is their limit?

Hormonal drugs in Canada are not dispensed over the counter, hence are prescription drugs. This means that during the medical you should (in principal) declare this. In my opinion this should not be a problem at all since the monthly cost of the drugs are way way less than the excessive demand...
