The reason for this is: My ex-employer does not provide an original letter, all he sends me is a PDF document and I take a print out. And I dont think they can ask for originals, because most people would have only one original copy and they dont want to send to CIC. I guess copies would do now...

Try finding jobs in Canada job website dude. Based on the # of jobs you find relevant to your skills, you can make a decision. There are N number of IT jobs, I am a QA but may be QA jobs are less compared to what you do. It depends really on the skillset rather than looking @ software jobs overall.

Yes, its not yet been updated. I came to know that spousal education is no more gonna yield points. Instead spouse-IELTS is gonna fetch points. These changes are not there in the FSW calculator. Total out of sync!!
