as far as I remember you are providing one resident address and one mailing address. to apply pr card you have to have (show) a resident address. and I guess then you can give po box as mailing address.

Yes.. To be on safe side update it, no harm. But it is very strange that they did not confirm the address they see on their system. Maybe sometimes they are tired.

Ok it is clear for me. All the new information is about visa exempt countries. Previously they can come and go without any card or something because they are free to travel with their passports. Now they are in the same ship with us. They have to carry cards if they travel by plane or bus. So...

For mailing address, most probably you dont need to do anything, but you can call CIC and get confirmation of your address since you do not see it on ECAS.

could you please share the link about 1st of march, I can only see something like eTA which will be started on 15th of march, and which is about visa exempt countries.

It seems ok and for the above entry, my interpretation: jas_to_canada did not see landing address (Canada address declared during landing) on Ecas and called CIC, and they told that no matter what is seen on ECAS, you will receive the card in the landing address. So nothing to confuse. Is it...

No.. ECAS shows neither my new address nor my landing address.. It still shows my home country address. During phone call I asked about it, they said it is a common issue and advised me to raise a case specific enquiry about this technical problem. I did it, no change yet.

I did not receive PR Card but I successfully updated my initial address. I know that because I got confirmation of my new address from CIC call center as the mailing address of the PR card .
