Well I am hoping that this break will give the LVO enough time to sort my PPR out, so on my return I can head to the Canadian Embassy from Heathrow then head down to the Walkabout in Temple and have a big burger washed down with a SnakeyB. Also hoping my mate who works at the MOJ can have a...

Thanks Miki. Think I am going to e-mail my VO and advise her that I am going to be travelling to Canada for 10 days so that she is aware but I won't request her permission. Yah getting excited now, may head out Tuesday rather than Wednesday now that I don't need a response from my VO.

Ok fed up I am going to Canada on a 10 day holiday. What do I need to do to ensure the lowest possible risk of being refused entry? Do I need to let my VO know that I am intending to enter Canada temporarily? Are there any known reasons as to why people have been refused entry on a temp basis...

If you can see me then I wouldn't be a very good Bourne. I saw the latest film about another Bourne type character, bloody rubbish! The writers should be taught a lesson by Bourne for how crap it was.

Being an Aussie I feel obliged to have some mean come back but unfortunately our hey day as champions of T20 are long gone. I am gonna put my hopes on the Aussies not stuffing up against the BOKs in the rugby championship tomorrow.

My understanding is to do the security checks they need to ensure they have all details on your forms so the external agency can verify the details. Once they have what they need they will start the security checks so 18-20 days in theory they will have all info for a decision. Theory and fact...

Redo the background declaration ASAP. Make sure you have no more gaps or errors. Make a PDF copy of the declaration and send it direct to your VOs e-mail address and ask them to confirm receipt. I was also told I had gaps in my schedule A, instead of arguing I did exactly as asked and sent a...

I think they are are testing me. Spoke with the boss and his beautiful daughter and we are thinking about firing a Canadian worker every Monday until I get my Visa starting on the the 17th September 2012. I am all for it, but there maybe a legal snag or two regarding this so they are taking...

Liable to court action if it is true. It would also go completely against what they are trying to achieve. Lets get the backlog down by holding all cases until 2013. Ummmmmm......... Unfortunately this is just so ludicrous it could be true :(

I reckon this is going to be like the rumour that all cases were going to be resolved by 31 Aug 2012. Until it is on the CIC website stating that no new immigrants will be allowed into the country until 2013 there is no point getting worked up on something like this.
