    If you don't submit a list you won't be allowed to take stuff with you and it may be hard to argue it belongs to your wife. If you really started going through stuff you could come up with something. An absolute PITA to do (we're currently putting together the forms) but it will need to be done...

    Yes she also needs to do the forms if she's been gone for sometime. I can't recall the number of years but we're having to do it and my partner has been out of Canada for about 8 years

    Unless its TB or suspected TB, even lung cancer would not stop you passing a medical. I have no idea what that means. What you could do is send in a medical report from your own doctor that shows nothing wrong. You may well pass anyway. Either way, a total pain and you worried unnecessarily!
