    Spousal sponsorship

Yeah it really was not a positive experience. I had blood in my urine and then had a talk about final stage renal failure. I was told I would cost too much if that was the case and possibly my actual known health issues (run of the mill stuff like overweight, etc) means I would have to be lucky...

    Spousal sponsorship

Thanks for all the replies people. So is this is a new thing or did I misunderstand there being a previous process? And when it says medical received its purely a matching process and not a passed status? I was told by my DMP I would most likely be refused on medical grounds, I believe...

    Spousal sponsorship

I was under the impression that your medical is sent straight to your processing VO and there it is matched to your application. However 'Medical Received' showed on my Ecas quicker than I would expect the file to be transferred from Miss. to London (a few days). Looking at the December thread...

Difficult to get PR if business owner

I don't even recall a question as to what the Applicant's income is. I may be wrong though.

Can Husband who is a Canadian Citizen who lives in US sponsor his wife now?

Yes he can start the sponsorship process now. Include current US employment evidence. We are in the same position but in the UK. We submitted everything for Sponsor and Applicant together. You can have your medical a in the US at a designated doctor. He will need to state what his plans are...

Need Help: My Wife (Who I'm Sponsoring) Wants to Bring Car from US to Canada

I believe you can have it on your list when you land of goods to follow and you don't incur taxes. There's a document somewhere that says it just needs to be used. That would include picking up a new car from NH and driving it.

PR app submitted-what to expect next?

In our case, the sponsor and applicant both supplied e-mail addresses and live in the UK (so postal comms may still come I suppose). The sponsor received an email and the sponsorship approval e-mail same day. One of the e-mails has UCI code and using the sponsor's details tracking works on Ecas.

IMM 5481 your net personnel income

I may be wrong but I think you have a year from your medical. Britishexpats forum has quite a bit of info. Once landed you can come back to tie things up in the UK hence the form of goods to follow. Looking at the London spreadsheet gives you an idea and you can always just be up front with...

IMM 5481 your net personnel income

Don't worry. We are in the same position - both in the UK, no jobs lined up in Canada. House in Canada, no house here. I would not worry too much about it. We did not include anything about savings other than in the section that asked for income received over the last year from them. Under...

Is being a member of a church part of an organization?

I would add it. If they deem it irrelevant they will ignore it.

Photos do we need to label who's in the pic

I had photos showing us throughout our relationship. Each photo had a code and cross referenced to an index that detailed month year, who was in the photo, where it was taken, occasion. We did include some photos of us individually. For example, me at a restaurant then one of my partner at the...

Good place to Print Digital Colour Photos in Canada

It's only $10. Driving around checking out prices will cost more in gas. Ours were 4p at Costco in the UK but we had almost 150

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

If I recall correctly a UK outland applicant was asked the same. Have you travelled quite a lot? I believe they had spent some time travelling and that was counted towards their time 'common lawing' so CIC were aware of their travels.

DECEMBER 2012 Applicants--This is your thread

Spreadsheet looks great. Fingers crossed for everyone this week. I've started checking our status online. I knew I would succumb. I assume it only becomes trackable from AOR date onwards? I'm just using receipt number and sponsor's details at the moment. Just a bit antsy what with the parcel...
