LMO for two month paid research internship at a University for an IIT student ?

As the project I am supposed to work on was going to start this September but my PhD studies wil start in Jan 2013, I had asked my prof if I could come to Canada to assist him in the research work early. He has specifically told me that I'd be requiring a work permit for that duration. I am not...

    No IELTS, Problem?

A friend of mine in McGill applied without IELTS but He had given TOEFL iBT and still he got the visa. For university students, there's not much problem it seems. But then, you never know how the VO takes it. So I gave IELTS still :)

If you make 2 or more than 2 stops to EU, you need Schengen visa. For one stop no transit/Schengen visa is required. BA through London is the most economical flight. Lufthansa and Swiss Air are better in terms of comfort. Ask for students discount from agents. Its usually just 500 INR (as...

Kindly Mail me copy of SOP....

Its pretty sad to see people copying SOPs randomly. No wonder rejections from universities/visa offices are high. Many good universities/institutions employ plagiarism checkers like http://turnitin.com/ etc. There's no harm seeking advice and reviews but beware of blind copying.

did any one started filling there visa application by own////

I don't think you have to fill it. If you read it carefully, it says that "DO NOT COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING SECTION NOW. YOU MAY BE ASKED TO SIGN IN THE PRESENCE OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT OR AN OFFICIAL APPOINTED BY THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT" No one asked me so I didn't fill it...

did any one started filling there visa application by own////

Fill Schedule 1 form (Its TRV I think) No need to write in native language. English is fine. All photocopies only, except LOR. Photocopies should be attested by notary, though a couple of my friends got visa without attestation. No need to get fee receipts attested.

did any one started filling there visa application by own////

Depends on course duration. Usually Masters students mention complete 2 years of funds(a friend of mine who got visa did this) whereas Bachelor guys mention 1 year (as their course is 3+ years) I mentioned 1 year only as my course is 4 years+ In the column "funds availabe for my stay, will be...

VISA REFUSED - GENERAL CATEGORY: URGENT ADVISE NEEDED!

IMO, the reasons for such refusals are mainly a combination of a few factors. For eg. 1 year college course (not related to previous course) + only liquid assets as substantial proof of funds. Your best bet is to get a loan which shows that you have financial credibility and funds are sure to...

Go for BA as they allow 2pc (23kg x 2) baggage. Also, don't go for 2 stops in EU region as it requires additional Schengen visa.

do they in medical check the private parts etc. in medial examination..??

Funniest question on forum :) but on a serious note, they don't check. If you read the checklist given by doctor, no inspection of private parts is mentioned. Whereas there is a series of questions about alcoholism, tobacco habits and neurological/psychological medical history. Thats funny though!
