    I also applied in VFS New Delhi on 3rd October personally (without consultant) under University. Requested for personal collection of passport. Still waiting. Is SPP visa issued faster than University? The wait is indeed so boring :(

    Try applying for some scholarships. I can point you to some Govt and Non-Govt ones if you are from India. You can also contact the University/college and ask for some financial aid if any.

    CAQ doubts and clarifications

    Call Immigration Quebec at around 7 in the evening and clear your doubts. (Select 2 from 1st menu then select 1) Thats the best way. They will help you out for sure. I had called up Immigration Quebec guys twice and my university once, DHL in Canada in my whole process to get precise answers.

    Study permit guide says 'Yes' if you are going for 6 months or above for studies. So I did. I don't know if its necessary or not.
