Credit Cards (building credit as a new-coming PR in Canada quickly)

TD/RBC where the ones that offered what i was after, clean website, internet banking, android etc etc. My friends currently in Vancouver do recommend TD over RBC just as you do, main reason they said (like you did) were more branches with longer opening hours, and less fees for the account, i...

    Quick settlement trip (vancouver)

yeah, i'm hoping the issue date would be enough, my US licence was issued in 2009 by state of new york (prior licence to that was a state of hawaii licence issued in 2004). I contacted ICBC a while back, and they told me that they had a system where they could look up the US history if needed...

yes it was on the 18th November actually to be exact, so about 9 days now. Looked through the signature of people on this thread, and it seems that it takes 2-4 weeks to get the VISA after the passport request is issued, so hopefully any day now. I find it weird though that the application...

Which city to choose to settle in Canada???

+1 For Vancouver. Vancouver late spring, summer and early fall is just perfect, good air, clean and perfect temperature. Dont like dealing with snow either, but i would like it on December 22-26 :) Wintertime is more gloomy, foggy, but all in a cozy good almost lord of the rings kind of way.

    Police Clearance Needed At Start?

I sent my application in without police checks from 2 countries i previously lived in, they will ask for it later. Send your application in, and complete with the police checks later (or if) they actually require them. Same as medical, you can do it upfront, or when they ask for it.
