Are there any Caribbean students still waiting for study visa approvals?

Not in the Caribbean but exact same thing in Europe, now I get an error 502. Too much excitement lol. Applied 17th of April, AIP August 13 btw

Kiwi and German/Kiwi Skilled worker or Express Entry for eventual citizenship? VERY confused, please help

Sorry I cannot find a list of all of them, but each province has them on their website with all the requirements. A good licensed consultant or immigration laywer can also help. Good luck btw!

Kiwi and German/Kiwi Skilled worker or Express Entry for eventual citizenship? VERY confused, please help

Agree as well, just that both rank pretty high in quality of life. I traveled to both Australia and NZ as a solo backpacker and hands down prefer Kiwis. And Canadians over Americans lol.

After US Elections, Demand for Canada will decrease?

Democrat campaigning largely focused on DACA recipients and the problems at the Mexican border and re-uniting families both for people already in the US and still in their home countries. Ironically (and no I am not a Trump fan) Trump before Covid suggested he wants more skilled migrants...

Kiwi and German/Kiwi Skilled worker or Express Entry for eventual citizenship? VERY confused, please help

Very difficult to even get enough points for Express Entry. At your age either a job offer in LMIA that is also skilled would be needed or you would to go through the Entrepreneur route or Investment route. Entrepreneur route has quite low minimums, but you cannot just open any type of...

Opening Primary and Secondary Schools for International Students!

Wow sorry to hear that, especially with former diplomatic status you would think they could do something.. Yeah I'm doing Anthropology, you? And yeah still waiting, sadly also super expensive to live alone in Amsterdam, Canada is cheaper lol. Pretty much the day I get that document i'm flying back

Opening Primary and Secondary Schools for International Students!

Wow sorry to hear that! No my permit still hasn't gotten to Stage 2, I applied for the new one in April. An uninformed visa consultant told me that I could simply fly back anytime I wanted to, so flew back to Amsterdam. And now been stuck for 7 months! Did you apply for an extension of your...

Opening Primary and Secondary Schools for International Students!

7 years? Wow and I thought I had it bad with not being able to come back right now after my 1 year university exchange year, to finish my Bachelor degree in Canada. Have you tried e-mailing them with evidence that you're a returning student, who is basically 'resident' (not PR that's not needed...

    VISA

They have no clear priority, it is a complete guessing game. I am from April also non-sds and AIP August 13 (but from the EU not India so no TRV or passport stamping) and have not even received a biometrics letter yet. Meanwhile there are people who applied in August for January 2021 intake...

    anyone from europe?

What's even more annoying to me is that there is no logical order to how the applications are processed. I can't use the forum as a 'tracker' to see where my application could be in the queue. Stupid question but could it be that they are handling with the name of the approved DLI in order and...

    anyone from europe?

Yeah just afraid that it might slow things down as they will stop to read the message, maybe tomorrow I will send them though.

    anyone from europe?

Thanks, tried that multiple times (already in early October explaining timezone difference and already having lived in Canada. Which were the old essential travel rules) but no responses sadly. Wish I could call them but that doesn't work :(

    anyone from europe?

Strange that I'm still waiting, having applied in April and received an AIP in August. But congratulations to everyone! Am I correct that Edmonton/Ottawa are giving the final approvals since everyone before today seemed to get approved at night in Europe (which would be late for London)?

[Opinions Required] Traveling to Canada vs staying home

My situation is slightly different as my country is more expensive than Canada and I am living alone but still.. I would say, unless you have a very nice home situation surrounded by friends and family and can work there and have no problem staying behind for months and all your classes are...

Is anyone currently already studying at a DLI on the list getting Stage 2 Approvals?

Oh that's very positive news! Yes sure I'll let you know if anything changes!

Is anyone currently already studying at a DLI on the list getting Stage 2 Approvals?

I see a lot of people who are getting approved are on the January 2021 intake, even those who applied as late as September but very few approvals from people who could basically fly right now. I am already studying at a DLI on the list, from the Netherlands, an ETA country (so no SDS, PPR or...

    anyone from europe?

That's because they need to submit their passport physically and have it sent back before traveling in order to even be able to fly, something which naturally takes time. Those countries require a TRV and a sticker has to physically be put in your passport...

    anyone from europe?

Sorry to barge in on this conversation. I applied from the Netherlands (as a Dutch citizen) on April the 17th, they already have my biometrics because I did an exchange year in Montreal before that. Got my AIP on August 13. Does anybody think that on the 20th of October they will simply...

Hi I was given an approval in principle to start studying online but not the full permit. I think yours should arrive soon as well
