After US Elections, Demand for Canada will decrease?

Democrat campaigning largely focused on DACA recipients and the problems at the Mexican border and re-uniting families both for people already in the US and still in their home countries.

Ironically (and no I am not a Trump fan) Trump before Covid suggested he wants more skilled migrants instead of families, and a point system but both were not popular.

Biden wants to do a slight increase in H1B visas and remove country limits but only for green cards, which I think is fair enough.

Even in a normal year and without either Trump or Biden, H1Bs are hard to get and as it's the only thing that decides whether you get to stay, it is a big gamble, something people in Canada, Australia and Europe don't really face as they can gain post-graduation work experience in far more fields and generally apply to stay.

And most jobs don't even allow H1B (Someone studying Business Administration who wants to go into Marketing or HR has no options)..

So a lot of people with that goal will not be choosing the US in the first place. Yes it will stop the exodus from Silicon Valley, but that's 1% of employment.
