I think you've misunderstood the situation ND sent him his ppr on Apr 7 and his post office recd it on May 2...

Yea.. we're not that sure either why it took around a month for the ppr to reach him... just thankful that did finally got to him. He is in Kerala ( down South in India)

The status on ecas changed to In Process about 3 weeks after Appln was received and the update Decision made was made 3 days after his visa was stamped

But the 3 page document has carbon paper in between... why would that be if its just info? I'm pretty sure everything is in order... but you know me....;)

I saw the sheet with his pic so that's a big check Its the 3 paged document that's getting to me... and it says COPR on the first page ( but its a second title to the Generic Doc.... wording) And I'm all up for a drink or two... seriously this whole process has made me grow grey hairs!!

I was freaking out when my hubby was showing this to me... I have a feeling I'm the one that's not done with ND :S When you talk to her tmrw can you just confirm and let me know what exactly she got and how it looks?

It is a very frustrating process, since communication is limited. But be rest assured that you will get your ppr.

For those that received the COPR... did the top of the document say something like Generic Document 3..... and then followed by the title Confirmation of Perm. Res. Also was it 3 sheets of paper with carbon copy sheets in between?

@manisha10 - The next step is In Process ( some don't get this) then its Decision Made and finally when they land it becomes Completed. Pls note that sometimes your status does not have to change, even after you have received the visa in your hand. You will only know for sure if a ppr has been...

I am def NOT done with this thread... I've had so much support that I can't leave it DNT - dates are not confirmed yet but we're trying to fix something for the 3rd week this month. Also the news you're waiting to hear is just around the corner. I know it!
