    Do you speak French? If yes, probably not much other than some minor administrative hurdles. If you don't, well there will be trouble finding a job, except in some very limited situations, until you learn it; along with general social alienation.

    There is a chance nobody ever catches the discrepancy, but if they do--its possible misrepresentation and denial of your application or even revocation of your citizenship later on. That kind of makes the decision easy doesn't it?
