People do get visa in second and third attempt. Show documented evidence for everything e.g if u want to show how this program is different, print the details of similar program and highlight the differences.

Try to explain how is ur course related to employment opportunities in ur homeland. You may write statement of purpose explaining how this program is different from other options. If this program is not related to ur past academic experience then explain why u switched the field.

If u haven't lied about anything and there is no flaw in ur application, there is no reason to lose hope. Delays are not unusual.

Most of the good schools like Alberta, Waterloo, UofT, UBC etc. offer full funding if u get admission.

Only college can defer admission. Embassy will ask for letter of deference, which you will have to obtain from College. Medicals will not guarantee visa. You can be rejected on other than medical grounds after ur medical. See time line for India.

Not getting visa in time doesn't mean that u have been rejected. That happens, mine is late too though I know the reason. Hopefully u would be contacted soon by embassy. Where did u apply for visa?

uncle? usually a blood relative is preferred. CHC might have thought that u wil have to pay back to ur uncle and u wil work in canada to return him money. Its hard to return dollars with rupee earning. That can be a reason if u have other ties e.g relatives, money, property, etc.

May b u should show that ur program is related to ur father's business and it will help u to handle it. And some property. Did they call for any interview? Who supported you in UK?

Thanks. Actually delay in visa was because of degree, which I got in October. They can call anytime. But mostly they call around 4-5 PM. I got few calls on 11 and 1 as well. Usually they would call u if there is some ambiguity or if something is missing.

Here is my timeline...... I am admitted in UBC for Master of Physics. Initially enrolled for Sep term but due to delay in visa, I would now join in Jan. 2010, Inshallah. Applied on 1st June(without Police Certificate) Docs returned(incomplete) in the last week of June. Reapplied with Police...

Defer ur admission to the next term and get a new admission letter and WAIT. That's all I can say.
