Hello Guys, My consultant received my second AOR on 5th May. Intrestingly the letter is dated 14th Aptil, just 12 days after the submission of docs. I think because my consultant is in Canada and CHC might have sent the letter in ordinary post it was delayed for so many days. Any how the time...

I wonder why they haven't sent the second AOR to me !! It has been over a month now, e-cas still received by visa office .

There are only a few March applicants who have seen a change in status and even fewer, I think only one who has got medical request from CHC New Delhi. April applicants can only expect a response once the March backlog is cleared.

Still "Received by Visa office" More than a month since I submitted full docs, No AOR, no change in status !!

By any chance did you send the CHC any communication, e-mail or post etc for early return of your passport. I have seen incidents where people have written to CHC citing various reasons like travelling outside country, and the passport is returned without visa stamping.

Did you check you e-cas status, I submitted my full docs to CHC New Delhi on 2nd April and I have not got any response either. However my e-cas status shows "Received by visa office."

Lets see what happens, but my comment gave me atleast three negative ratings !! ;D

It does not matter if it is a tourist visa or an immigration visa. As long as you have a valid visa on your old passport and you have both your passports with you, it should not be a problem !!

Guys, I don't think we will see any updates on our files for another month atleast. If you look at the thread for the March applicants, for some of them their status has not changed to "In Process" yet. And for those whose status has changed to "In Process" they have not got any verifircation...

Just make sure that you travel with both your passports !! :D
