E-CAS is where you can check the status of your file, which is never updated IMO. You can go to CIC website and click on check status or something along those line.

IMO RUKHSATI is the biggest proof of legit wedding. Also doesn't it clearly stats in the application that one must submit Rukhsati picture and proof. I'm sure your wife can go in with justification and future plan on when and where Rukhsati will take place. And maybe they will put your file...

At least that gives me something to look fwd to. My wife medical expired on Dec 20th so maybe by Jan 24th we'll hear something.

i'm 90% sure it's a matter of Rukhsati since that is one of the main things they look for. Other info you have submited about Insurance and medical coverage is not considered necessary. Wasn't there someone else on here who didn't do Rukhsati and was ask to submit proof of Rukhsati upon...

both can go for an interview? If that is the case then you got nothing to worry about. Claim that Rukhsati was done while you were in Pak for the internview, take couple of pictures with you and should be good to go :) remember to take your passport with you and come back with a visa on it :)

It's been close to 16 days since my wife med expired and nothing yet. Not even a reply to the email we sent them a week ago :(
