What college/uni are you guys coming too?

Since summer vacation is over here in Canada it’s nearly impossible to get a ticket now a days. So if you guys are planning on coming for September semester book a ticket now. PIA or other air lines hold it for 10 days before you have to pay for it.

from what i heard it does pro-long the process if female change their name. For whatever reason even if you mention your old/new name CHC will do a background check with your new name and once they get nothing they will go back do a check on your previous name. I really don't know how true...

seem like you could have gotten you're visa in November if rukhsati was done. Everyone else who's waiting for over 14months could this be the reason?

Awesome - this is the first good news in a while. Congrts. Like other said 4 weeks is norm. If you want to get here (Canada) before eid start booking you ticket now. Family of mine is having trouble getting a ticket since everything is booked.

don't think you can do a re-med unless embassy request it (i could be worng) and why are you giving up hope maybe he'll get his visa before it expires...

From what I understand time frame in AOR is just an estimate, it doesn't anywhere say your case will be approved/denied in 9-12 months. On CIC website it says it could take anywhere from 8 – 14 months but that's only 80% of cases which means there are still 20% that goes over 14 months. So it...

wow that's really stupid, they should have asked for re-med by now....hopefully its nothing major. And he should get his re-med request soon.

when does it start? is it from the time you apply or when your sponsor gets a letter? or when person who's getting sponsored gets it?

Visa office have dedicated Medical centers across country. Normally they would send you a list so make an appointment with one of them and doctor will see you, make a report and send it back to the visa office. only way to do you medical test is when you have documents to bring it in...
