Is it ok if an Australian Citizen & Canadian PR applies for OCI

Where did you hear that? I don't think its true...until you fulfill residency requirement you should be fine. But there are always provisions in any country by which they can revoke PR or citizenship or passport or anything...but these are provisions for exceptional cases.

Should be no problem. But sometimes there are problems with photographs and sometimes random verifications of the photo or something. So any member can be asked to reappear with the photograph to local CIC office in your province in Canada. If your family goes back and the retake things happen...

Yes someone told me, the another hard thing for the immigrants to cope is DRY-ness on top of job, experience and continuing education. But Toronto has not chilled yet compared to last month in Europe. Well, we have Vancouver like weather here in Europe...with some kinds of fungus around the...

CharlotteJ, You are right, discrimination is again on rise in Western Europe. Be it in Holland, Denmark, Germany or France the right wing political parties are gaining. Definitely it will not make Europe a better place to live in a long run. About your job in Missisauga (I guess I am not...

Well, Europe always has been the source of immigrants since long. Its not that Europeans are only going to Canada, they are immigrating to Thailand or other Asian countries, Africa or South America too. Meanwhile internal immigration is also quite profound. The reasons I could see are: 1. High...

@clubcanada I agree to that point and I was thinking one factor may compensate for another factor regarding the utilities. I believe the basic stuffs like communication may not stay as a "dear" commodity for a long time. The price may go down and come to the range of developed countries. Well...

@clubcanada Thank you very much for your input. Of course you know more about living in Canada comparatively as I have been there only for 10 days. Talking about individual houses I can say that buying a house in Germany or Western Europe may be not that expensive compared to Canada but...

CharlotteJ, I was silent reader of your post since the begining. I was more interested on your topic as I was also planning to move to Canada from continental western Europe. I did landing formalities and came back to complete my work here. When I landed in Toronto, I didn't think that I would...

People with MMBS (which is meerly undergraduate degree) are not docotrs in many countries. If you write doctor in front of your name without having a PhD or MD you will be in jail for at least one year and will pay a heavy fine if you were in Continental EU. So forget the dream of doctor with...
