If you already submitted your application, then wait. There is no option to edit or submit any documents further through the portal. If there is no mess, you all'll be asked to provide biometrics in next couple of months. Else, IRCC will ask for documents or information.

If you get accepted after hearing, you'll need to apply for PR. It takes more 2-3 years depending on province (as mentioned in IRCC website). Its a long journey.

Oh, my bad!! :rolleyes: For the expired passport, one needs to select the date of submission and needs to upload the expired passport's copy. If submission is today then select today's date.

As a protected person, you can not use your country passport and it is not wise to renew it until you are a Canadian Citizen. The claimant's document or driving license is a photo ID, not a passport. You need to apply for a travel document if you want to travel. You can check this link...

Scan and merge in PDF. As far as I remember, there is a tab 'others' (I might be wrong as I can not check now) for uploading documents. Use that one to upload a photo for your spouse. Make sure to rename all the docs as per instructions.

Yes, there are files delaying getting WP. I know two persons who are waiting for their WP. Both have claimed at the Montreal Airport and it's been almost 4 months. No idea what is happening.

You need to submit - 1 photo with front and back - 1 photo only front. The way you mentioned it will count 3 photos. It's your call what you'll do. I just shared my experience. Good luck!
