hi kk, i suggest you call beijing once again to confirm ( maybe the person picked up the call is a newbie), there is no way that they cannot find your information ? did you check everypage of yr passport ? cant believe they made these silly mistakes

Then i think the only way for you is to write a letter and explain to the visa office that you are currently living in Hongkong and will not be able to provide the PRC from China. your case is really fast because they already requested police certificate in less than 3 months good luck to you...

cheungcheung are you referring to the medical report that is required for the application ? that will usually forward to the HK visa office within a month after you completed it or are you doing another extra DNA test for the application ? i saw you submitted yr application in Dec 2012...
