Does anyone know that I haven't received any email yet while my ecas shows they have received my File and also decision already made? they said that they sent me a letter about the decision on August 28, Can you guys explain what is happening you all get SA in your emails while I haven't received any email so far? Hi guys

Need your help. Today my wife got a mail regarding OPTION C Printout . She is working Part Time. So she is not paying tax to government. So, In this case she is not eligible for option C printout. So please tell me now what we have to do. Is OPTION C Printout is compulsory. Or if u guys having any other alternative please tell me.

Is your friend just living abroad or is she actually registered as a non resident?

My wife registers herself as a non resident and she does not need to pay tax in Canada. When we called CRA about an option c printout they told us that my wife cannot obtain such a printout since she never filed taxes in Canada. My wife left Canada right alert finishing university.

The safest way would be calling CRA and asking for an option c. If they tell her that she cannot get one just explain that to CIC.

We added an additional sheet of paper to our application stating that we called CRA and my wife cannot obtain an option c printout. In addition we asked her employer for a letter stating that she is working in a permanent position, since when she is working at her current job, that she is working 40h/week and her monthly salary.

We assume that should be sufficient for CIC. Since we haven't mailed in our application yet (still waiting for my police certificate) I cannot say if it's actually sufficient.

If your friend never filed taxes in Canada, she can't get an Option C. If she ever did, she should ask for it, even if she did not pay anything in the last 3 years (if she was not a resident of Canada, she did not have to pay taxes in Canada). So now we have SA, does this mean CIC's next upadate will be PPR? Considering we already provided them medical reports, PCCs etc?

Thanks for replying.She is PR Canada from march 2013. And right now she is working as a sales associate from april 2013 to till date in a store as a Permanent Part Time employee. And she attached a letter with our forms stating that she is not eligible for option c printout because she is not paying taxes. And she also called CRA for option C printout they said she can not get one. And she also attached a letter from her employer stating that she is working 30 to 35 hours/week and his salary per hour. So now i don't know what to do because we already explained everything to them regarding this in additional sheet.

hmmm. maybe you need to reiterate your explanation and present it in a manner which is more convincing to them, i dont know. i wish i could be of help to you however,my knowledge is too limited with regard to your concern. maybe somebody in this forum knows the answer.cheer up.

congrats kroovy. the content of the email speaks for itself. according to you the email expressly provided thay they received your application on 8/26. hence, your AOR is dated August 26. the act of electronic mailing is the aftermath of your AOR, their way of informing you that indeed they received your application.cheers.
