I've applied on July 25 and got email with notes on August 26 In your case it takes too long! I've applied three times and always got notes within 30 days. Do you thing of reapplying?

Just got GCMS notes today... Last time my files was opened on July 7, 2013 officer assessed my eligibility and put status Recommended Passed, but it is already Aug 26 and i've not gotten MR requests... I don't understand why does it take soooo long for them to issue MR as notes state that they...

What is your home country? CIC does background check and after it is completed they issue medicals. If your country's visa office delays background check it will delay processing of your app as well. I think your eligibility is already passed but it's still not enough

Thanks lolita, that kinda proof a theory that destinations to large cities are processed slower...

btw: lolita, what is your city of destination? what did you specify in your PR application?

As i told before my gcms note were generated on June 6, and nothing beside criminality had been started by that time. The only thing I see that they moved my paper file from registry to A900 end of April

CIC processing is quite odd... I've applied on Nov 1st and still hear nothing.. however friend of mine who has very similar documents already got his MR last week. The only difference is City of destination, so it looks like if your destination is Toronto than you should expect delays...

Just got my gcms notes... As of June 6th nothing except criminality check had been started. I'm really disappointed as they received my application on Nov 1st and I expected to see at least some notes on my file.... the only thing I've noticed they moved my paper file from registry to A900...

Friend of mine who applied beginning of Nov got MR yesterday... Hope my is coming soon.

I think that doesn't really slow down the process. What really matters is any doubts about your application visa officer may have. If your case will require review by multiple officers (which is actually a part of routine) your officer will forward the case to colleagues and every forward can...

Hope so, I have not heard anything CIC for 8 month... At least I should get my gcms notes this week :)
