Yesterday was 6 weeks since they got my application (old process). I still have 2 more weeks to wait till it comes to 2 full months. Hopefully, I'll hear from AINP before then.

where did you guys affix green sticker? I pasted it per their instructions on an outside of an application packet. Then I put the packet in a fedex envelope and Fedexed the whole thing to Edmonton. Do you think, that is the problem? I read somewhere in the forum some people pasted the green...

my application was under the old system (with pre-assessment) and was received Feb 9. I still dont have file #. we all should be patient....I guess! but its difficult its out of our hands....

If my AINP is not approved by the end of June, I am s****d. I have a unique situation. My home country issued rules that Dec 31, 2009 is an expiration date on all citizen's passports. Embassies in the US were supposed to start accepting applications for the new biometric passports 6 months ago...

January applicants (new system) are beginning to receive some communication, not the file numbers. But something is happening ( there were 2 people who were contacted by AINP to provide more docs. But what about the January applicants under the old system....? Can't believe not a word from AINP...

I disagree, it is more than likely that they have received a great many applications in Dec, Jan and Feb. Let's not forget that in Jan they made a move towards accepting complete application packages without the required pre-assessment step. And we still have quite a few people who submitted...

Guys, as far as I know we only need to get FBI fingerprinting done to satisfy PCC requirement. This is where we give them the list of all US addresses (xyz number of States). Then when the report comes, we send it to CIC. This is the very first time that I hear about individual US States PCC...

4 page copy of LCA is signed by employer. same goes for H1B petition letter sent to USCIS. Did not send I-129.
