It has been over a week since I received AOR, with absolutely no word on stage 1 approval. I've called several times today, to be disconnected each time. Has anybody had to wait over a week after receipt of AOR???

My ecas has been updated to "In Process" and "Medicals Received", but still no word. Surely this means I will be hearing soon though, right? Looks like another long, nervous (and very hot) weekend here.

Argh! No news today following my AOR yesterday. Does anybody know how long the expected wait time is after receiving an AOR? I'm so anxious now, after three months of patience these last few days are the biggest struggle it seems.

Well, we received an AOR today for our application, received by CIC April 12th. The UCI doesn't work yet though. The email appears to have been sent from Mississauga.

Has anybody from the April party received an AOR yet? Are these usually received by email or post?

For anyone referencing this thread in future - I read elsewhere that the requirements for Australian applicants did actually change for 2012. The standard name check is now sufficient & fingerprints are no longer required.

Ouch, 88 days now - long wait for us lowly April applicants. Interested to hear how others are coping while awaiting judgement - how are you keeping your mind busy and your thoughts clear? Sudoku? Gym? What?

I'm a bit worried about my application. Sent Canada Post Express, the tracking system last updated to "processed at postal facility" in Mississauga on the April 12th....but has not changed since then! Is this normal for Canada Post? Does it really mean "item delivered, case closed"? Arrghhh!

Well I had my prints done in Calgary using a standard Canadian fingerprint form - apparently Australia doesn't have a specific fingerprint form/card they they expect us to use. They said they just need the prints to be clear, with no folds near the prints. Can't see you having any problems using...

Fingerprints are required yes

What can we do though?

The processing time for assessment of sponsor appears to have risen to 84 days now :o
