No SA here. Wish I had though. I feel like its the day after Thanksgiving... everyday!! Like standing at the Wal~Mart door waiting for it to open so I can get the Black Friday (SA) special before anyone else. :) ROFLMFAO

You should receive an email correspondence via email regarding SA determination IF your application was received. Be patient, there are still some August applicants waiting for a response. :)

I was also asked for a receipt number, it's there way of verifying. Offer your receipt number next time.

Hey guys, I called CIC today and spoke with a young lady regarding my appapplication. I was told that a file was started on my sponsors behalf and that we should have an answer within the next 3 weeks. Not much to go on bit there'there's hope.

If you send a completed application, you should receive AOR in approximately 4 months. Everyone is different truly depends on the adequacy of the intake clerk. After which, you'll wait additionally leading to the 13 month mark. Who knows? Perhaps CIC will process faster by then. Good luck!

' I misread regarding your NOT sending the app in as of yet! If you are truly worried, just send what you have now; that WILL grant you implied status, you can send the other documents in when they request them. Otherwise get on line NOW and extend your visitor visa :)
