I called this morning as my application was received on September 3rd but I have not heard anything.I was told to be patient -the officer did not look into verify that the application has been received.

I called 1888 242 2100

PF I am peacefully waiting for you to get SA as an indication that I will get it soon (I applied after you). I am wondering if the fact that you had to do extra medical tests and sent them back on the 22nd of September will mean your processing time will be longer?

What number did you call? I know I have a bit longer to wait, but it'd be nice to hear from someone who can confirm that my app has been received and is in process, at least for a little peace of mind.

AWESOME. Wonder why they say abroad? Its just going to Ottawa.

It is just a generic template they use with case specific details. All of the other SA e-mails follow the same pattern.

hello everyone, I sent my application Sept. 3 by Canada Post without any tracking information. I've researched from Canada Post website that it will take about 4 days to send the Letter/Parcel within Canada. I have no idea if it have been received yet by CIC.
It has been a month now and I'm really worried about my application :-[.

When do you guys think I will receive a letter/email from CIC about my SA?

You should receive an email correspondence via email regarding SA determination IF your application was received. Be patient, there are still some August applicants waiting for a response.

I sent mine in 9/10/14 and still waiting. Some of the August people are still waiting also so I am patiently waiting and hoping we hear something by next week.

Do you have the receipt you from Canada post? I believe you can track it with the number on the receipt. Its worth a shot? Have you tried?
