Hi draxz1289, After landing did u have to apply for PR card by filing up Form MM5444 and other forms according to the website : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prcard.asp or you will automatically receive your new card as part of the immigration process. Thanks for ur help

I did my medicals on 15 April 2012. This thing doesnt make sense to me. According to the letter I have to restore my staus or leave Canada.Eventually I have to leave Canada and am returning because my application has been approved for PR . My husband is in India and will be coming to Canada...

even if i apply for restoration it takes 40 days to get a reply. I will receive my passport and COPR from Detroit in a week now.So do I wait for 1 month just to get my restoration status and then do the landing procedure ??? I tried calling CIC but the line was always busy and cldnt enquire.

My e-cas status is not updated yet after sending passport and right of landing fees to Detroit.It still shows Medicals have been received .My DD is not encashed. Is that usual ??Do i need to worry ?? My passport was received by Detroit VO on 25 July.
