Finally......got AOR from NDVO. Its dated 18th October. This is such a relief ! Dear Admins, please update.

Nothing yet buddy....don't know whats happening. I am not sure whether our files are in NDVO or by some stroke of luck(wishful thinking ;D) have been transferred to CPPO. Will let you guys know if we get it. We are the few ones left from May applicants to get an AOR.

NDVO works enthusiastically for two days and then sleeps for 5 days. They have 5 day weekend. ;D ;D ;D

Oh yeah :D :D We dont mind being the outliers in this case ;D ;D We can live without AOR if we get MR directly from CPPO.

Strangely enough, applicants before us, after us and of the same date as ours have got AOR from NDVO, and we have not. Our application reached there on 30th May. We got PER on 16th Aug. Hopefully we should get it next week. Any views ??

It seems like the bureaucrats all around the world irrespective of developed or developing nations are all same. Its been almost two weeks the strike ended, but no good news from any of the VOs( barring CPPO). No one knows what are they thinking, forget about working ! :'( :'( :'(

And on 2nd October....it is a national holiday in India, I don't expect any movement from them tomorrow as well. C'mon NDVO wake up !

Maverick, Your query went unanswered because no body knows ! There is no MR from the NDVO yet. But my gut feeling is that after receiving AOR an applicant can expect MR in 1.5-2 months' time. My gut feeling is based on the MR from other VOs, who have sent MRs to applicants. No one can be sure...

UCI is immaterial. Its kind of serial number. It has not relation to being in CAP or any assurance to get PER.
