There has been cases where local visa office (including NDVO) has called up, emailed, or even visited the work place to the cross-check/verify the employment details provided, so yes its advisable to intimate your employer about it.

Well buddy that's a tricky one. Before this I was in Australia for 3.5 yrs, studying and working. It's hard to take but guess wat? They rang my employer and questioned them everything that can be questioned. With NDVO the ways might not always be smooth.

There are various ways by which Visa office can believe ur employment proof. What matters the most - is the reputation of your organisation. If you are working in Big Firms then half of the battle is won.

Secondly, if you have sent them ur appointment letter along with salary slips. Thats solid proof. They can cross check ur designation in both the documents.

Thirdly , if you have provided your job description on a companys letter head, I am sure it leave a positive impact.

And yes if your education background and your job duties compliment each other , they will be satisfied. Problem arises when you are pol science student and have shown the finance job. This will then sound fishy

I believe that you should get your PCC done again since its valid for 12 months only, and most probably NDVO will ask for fresh ones. So to be on a safer side you get it made again.
Also, since you have got PER, you can safely assumes that your bank statement is in order. However, NDVO can ask for fresh statements for past 6 months (as some other visa offices are asking), so i would suggest keep a healthy bank balance and if it is requested provide them with the latest one. All iam saying is its better to be prepared to avoid any delays.

Now NDVO is has suddenly stopped sending AORs to people for past few days, whereas a week ago they were sending AORs like crazy.
But, i really wish that you will get yours soon

When NDVO ask for new PCC , will they specify the issue date of PCC should be after their request or It can be issued earlier and just fulfilling the requirement of revised validity ?

I guess its after , CIO Sydney Nova scotia only check whether you have submitted all the required documents, signed everything and all

Check on their authenticity is done at Visa Office. So whatever cross checking has to be done , it will be done after AOR

As far is as i know, NDVO will not specify the date, and if you get PCC made now it will good enough. Usually PCC is valid for 12 months.

Oh...well in that case my PCC is still valid till next month and now I am waiting for my AOR/MR...I hope they just accept it and not trouble me... Is it possible?

don't panic they wil nt trouble u.. if they hv issues they wil ask u to send pcc again

I dont understand.

You received AOR in July and still waiting for MR?
Did you transfer the VO?

God knows when we all with get MR...
