Dear Friends today i got NER from CIC,Novascotia They wrote me that i forgot to attach checklist but it was there not at the beginning of my application which was placed at the bottom of all documents and the second reason is that at the time of application i was 35 years 2 months they gave just 11 points but i thought it was 12.finally they wrote me that my education is masters degree in science in Physics and Chemistry but my qualification doesnot match 2263 NOc

Im scare about my noc, because my education ir Veterinary Medicine but I worked in a lab during 2 years in a medical project! Here in Brazil the Medical Laboratory Technologist is not a regulated profession! So....if you can help me or anyone....i'll really appreciate!

Observation: the noc 3211 require, for example, Bachelor Degree in Sciences! To get the Veterinary Degrre you must complete this college before go to the Veterinary School! I dont know if can count!

Congrats!!!! Md.Azad! Finally you hear good news from canada! Noticed from the spreadsheet, I wonder how come you got encashed on July 16th and didn't receive PER until Sep 18th? You didn't realize that canada took your money until you got PER, did you?
Oh, man...I ask this since I'm still hoping miracle for my case. My package has not been returned yet!

Education credentials are only for getting points. They are no way related to your qualifying for particular NOC.
Only your work experience helps u to qualify under one particular NOC.

So you may be a mechanical engineer by education, but in last 10 years, if you are working as a professor/lecturer in a college, then you cant qualify under 2132 as mechanical engineer, but you can only qualify as a lecturer/professor in some other category (if open)

My ecas status is still as below

1.We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on September 6, 2013.

I don't see any MR status update in ecas. My Medical exams was done on 9/16 and doctor was saying he will update everything by 9/18 , so i think he has done that already and today passport request.

Try to get medical exam appointment to panel doctor asap.

while filling the additional family information form of my spouse. i have typed my name in applicant row and my spouse name in spouse row. i think i did mistake.
please guide me? what i can do now???

Dear saleem, your application is already in NS. Wait for 8 or 9 weeks and send a new form with a cover letter explaining your mistake, and include your full name, date of birth, the date your application arrived and your UCI, if you already have one.

the system does not recognise ur application if u dont give an hyphen after 4 digits.

it seems to be a negligible mistake! don't be worried.
Actually the main problem is unclear and mistake-potent application forms.
despite I think they will overlook your fault, it might be useful to email correctly filled form to CIO.

Guys, I know you are trying to help, but please don't give false information.

Surf other thread at home-skill worker category.... Like medical monsoon started at NDVO... Applicant are getting update on Saturday and Sunday also. But those all are 2010/2011 applicants... Even pre 2008 thread is also having update this days from NDVO .... So it seems that NDVO is working hard in clearing backlogs...
