Correct from the US.

I can only tell you that if you try to apply for an open work permit from within Canada they should approve you as long as step one of your sponsorship application has been approved by Canada. If not then sponsorship through your employer. Best of luck, I'm going through it all as well.

So I work for the airlines and I need my passport to travel each week. Does anyone know what I should do at the time that they request my passport? Anyone know if there is same day service?

My question is does that portion come across on everyone's letter for Quebec or specific for us. In talking with lawyers they said it should be sufficient since the skilled worker forms are the same as the sponsored psacket for Canada. The only difference would be the undertaking form for Quebec.

I tried to get my Medical exam done (early Nov 2012) before spousal pr application and the doctors office said they could no longer take forms that do not have the validated bar code on the top from CIC. That I would have to receive the form from Canada before I have my exam. Hmmm
