There were a bunch in the third week of November and those ones got COPR at the same time as us October folks.

51 names on the spreadsheet. Anyone whose application has gone to Ottawa please add your information to the spreadsheet. It will give us a more accurate idea of the timelines.

Just updated mine as the COPR came in the mail today! Exactly 9 months (and 1 day) from start to finish. Big, humongous thank you to all of you who have been extremely helpful throughout this process. Special mention to Computergeek who deserves an Order of Canada for all the people he's helped on here. From the bottom of our hearts we are truly appreciative!

US Citizen applying with spousal sponsorship for Quebec
11/21/12 sent off Application Spousal sponsor for US citizen ouside Canada
11/23/12 shows received application
11/29/12 Spousal portion accepted sent to CPP-O for further processing, AOR as well

Originally applied as Skilled Worker 5/11 received my SK CSQ 10/12 hoping they do not require us to apply for spousal csq as we were just married 7/12.

No medical yet because I went on 11/1/12 and they just changed the rules to have the new forms with bar codes, so waiting for the request for medical.

For those still in the US, I'm pleased to be able to report that CPP-O CoPR delivery has begun South of the border too (taking a week to make it through Canada Post and USPS).

For those wondering what to look for in the mail, it's a ~ 7.5x10.5 inch manila envelope (so, almost letter size but not quite) that has the Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa return address stamped on with red ink and the delivery address on a big white label placed on the envelope in 'landscape' format.

While were on the subject of COPRs coming from Ottawa, I have a quick question.

When I submitted my app I put my mailing address as our's here in Canada because I've been staying here as a visitor throughout the process, but I put my residential address as my one in the US because that's where I'm "technically" supposed to be living.

Which address will they send my COPR to? I'm curious because I was hoping to do a quick landing by driving to the border rather than having to fly all the way home to PA from Vancouver to get my COPR.

Any light that can be shed on this would be greatly appreciated =)

Depends on if you send it within the USA or from Canada. If you send from Canada, it'll be your Mailing address.

Shylox - They should send it to your mailing address. That being said, I would suggest confirming it when they request your passport copy.

Send a cover letter with the passport just for piece of mind, I changed my mailing address shortly after filing and never got conformation that they received it and changed it, so I included a letter and it came to the Canadian address. Good Luck!

Thanks for all the pointers! I did send the app from within Canada but I didn't know they even paid attention to the return address on the envelope. I will include a letter with my passport request just to make sure though =) Hopefully it doesn't get overlooked since it will most likely be in email form since from what I've seen Ottawa doesn't want your physical passport(usually).
