I asked the CIC agent before, he said nothing will be sent as proof after they received your application, you can keep the copy of application and mailing track just in case.

I just submitted my e-APR on Jun 2 2016. The agent told me there is no way I could get my R10 passed right away, but he isn't sure when it will be passed.

If you apply by paper, you can refer to this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp If you apply online, the system will generate the checklist for you based on your answer.
