Confirmation for Paper Submissions

My PGWP expired on June 25, I sent my BOWP Paper Application by FedEx and received by CPC-V on June 17. Will CIC send me a receipt confirmation of sort? Because I need to prove to my employer I am in the implied status.

I asked the CIC agent before, he said nothing will be sent as proof after they received your application, you can keep the copy of application and mailing track just in case.

Do you know if I order a GCMS note, will it show something in that regard? Such as application received or in process by some officer?

you can order but if they haven't opened your file yet, you won't see anything in it.
