Nothing to worry. There are other outlanders also whose BG changed directly from Not Started to Not Needed. I just thought that you might be from US and see whether there is any pattern. Looks like there is none. Best of luck.

Hi, My BG went from Not Started to Not Needed too. Which country are you applying from? Im applying from US. So, my application will be processed in Ottawa. So my timeline will be more similar to Inland applications than outland applications.

I don't know the significance. I was just curious as we are in pretty much same status and mine had the weird "batchtesting" in the group name. I though may be you had the same group too.

My Bad. I got what you were saying now. I think so too, that BG will go to In Progress at RFV, like how it happens to other Outlanders.

I did not get any document request. And majority of people in this thread did not have any document request. In fact, we initially thought that document request is delayed for us. But from GCMS notes of some of us, it looks like it is not related to document request.

The usual progression of BG status is: 1. Not Needed at this time - As soon as you submit you eAPR. 2. Not Started - Around the time your medical is passed. 3. In Progress - For inland immediately around medical passed date. For outland, after 2-5 months. Probably RFV and very very close to...

@Ontariolove - MyCIC eligibility is In Progress. I applied on 26th Dec and received on 28th Jan.

Credit Card gets charged when they open your mail. My credit card was charged about 7-10 days before I got my PCC (at US address). You can give FBI a call, and they will give the date of applications that are opened today and the date of application that are processed today. Thanks.

Or, they could be sending you a document request. I missed mentioning this. But a lot of us with Nov/Dec AOR have BG moved to Not Needed from In Progress or Not Started, but have not received any document request or rejection. So nothing to panic here. Best of luck.

I though that ECAS - In Process happens when R10 OK is done. Isn't R10 check done by CIC and then moved to Ottawa for processing? I was hoping for something substantial like eligibility check completed when status moved to NN. Wishful thinking, I guess. ;D
