:( i really hope not... I thought it was weird that they didn't announce until recently they would accept 5000 applications. Until just before the end of the year it said 'the number of applications will be limited' and it gave me hope for the double. I wonder why they then went on to talk...

Would make sense. It buys them time to deal with bigger numbers of applications in the meantime, although i doubt the decision will change now that it's been announced. Fingers crossed.

I understood it a bit differently - mainly because they specify after that they will post more info about the increase... so I think they will charge the first 5000 complete applications, inform us (make a decision and implement a system - hire ppl etc...) and then charge 5000 later down the...

I also read recently that delivery guys have to go up and downstairs to bring files by... batches? So maybe the cages take, say... 500 envelopes, so those are from 1 to 500 and that's batch 1 and they go on like that?
