There is no way one can check if file transferred or processing started?

What is the indication for file transferred or processing started? AOR means visa office has started working on the case? Is that the only indication after PER?

How do we know about the file transfer or processing started? Is there a mail for each stage?

Friends, I have Ben able to get 2 numbers from my last years file. One is an 8 digit number and the other one is 9 digit number starting with E 000-000-000 Which is UCI number? I am 7 May applicant and would like to check the status. Please help seniors....
