If my package till under review by CIO office (No CC NO PER yet) can I send a duplicate package to CIO office (same NOC) ? Because I want to include missing document and also another method pf payment (DD)

Is the duplicate package will harm my original package?

It won't harm, but the 'received-date' will be updated to the date they receive your updated document.

It is subjective to CIC in this case. Few have been successful in the past, but attach complete details of you.

Can any NOC 2132 (Mechanical Engineering) applicant share his duties/responsabilities stated in the reference letter.
These are mines, feel free to review:

Letter No 1.

1- the employee served in the position called "service assistance" whose profile required by the company is: Mechanical Engineer. Worked in the technical support, service and after-sales department of specialized machinery for the oil & gas, power generation, marine, on highway construction, mining and agricultural industry.


2- Main Duties:

- Planning and supervision of technical staff developing the work of: periodic maintenances, full maintenances, emergency repairs, refurbishment, overhauls, upgrades.

- Develop specific maintenance and service programs according to customers and operations requirements.

- Make technical service proposals and proyects, including logistics, costs, timing estimates, management indicators.

- Perform preliminary failures analysis of mechanical components before submitting warranty claims to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer)


Letter No 2.

- Coordinate and schedule the activities of the technical staff of preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, ensuring the proper and normal operation of all equipment involved in the production of the open-pit coal exploitation project "Mina Caypa"

- Design, improve and implement work plans and maintenance schedules according to the production program being executed, to ensure full availability of the equipment by the operations department

- Create balances and reports of the operation and maintenance of production equipment and facilities

- Comply with policies, regulations, standards and procedures established by the company.

Contact details of HR department in my company is on the letter and they are free to verify the same. But I wanted to keep this as much confidential as possible so I didn't really want to ask anyone in my company for any additional help.

Most of us are doing it confidential..... Dont worry you should be safe....

Iam still in the process of obtaining letter of references from my past employers and its taking a lot of time.
Most likely i can post it only by 21st July. Iam I late? Could some one guide me through this.
I am thinking of making an affidavit if its not worth waiting for.

Finally, WES status has been changed from "Document Received, Review In Progress" to "Evaluation in Progress" today.

Then from this point, how long did it take to get the report to your hand?

Mine has already been more than two weeks since they changed the status to evaluation in progress, still waiting.

So you are out of first few early date applicants of this forum....how do you feeling waiting for next processing phase after PER and what you think , which is your estimated date Singapore VO would start work upon your file ?

Hi I dont know, as far as i know none of fsw 2013 applicants of SVO has recieved MR so i do not expect my turn will come soon, at least a year next. I am waiting for AOR which i was told that i would receive two month after PER, so one month to go .

Please check the spread sheet, Although few claim it is not perfect, it has rough predictions for current year based on past experiences and few logics......

Dear All, This is just to make u cautious that Your Local Visa Office may check your LinkedIn , Facebook and Twitter Profile for background checking.


Usually most of the background checking responsibility is handed over to third parties which can includes employer verification/police clearance confirmation etc. So who have these Social website profiles are suggested to sync with ur application provided job designation (or "Make Invisible to Everyone" on privacy settings).

I have observed one Indian applicant (on 2012) whose Linkedin profile was indicating that he had worked on Law background but he is an Electrician under which he applied...

Later on he was asked for an interview by his Canadian Case officer...She behaved so rudely with the applicant for the mismatch between his application and LinkedIn profile.

As per applicant, he was actuaally an Electrician but he had taken law degree beside of this and practiced for this law activities.He have not declared his law degrees and jobs on his Schedule A background declaration form. Later he admitted his fault that he hid on his app.

The case officer was not satisfied what applicant declared on the interview....

That thread member have not updated his status later.
