I called CIC on Tuesday and she said I should receive my pr card by July 30(next Tuesday). If I don't, call CIC again and they will contact the office. Don't understand why Mine is getting delayed! >:(

I believe you can't unless you are from visa-exempt country.

Landed this morning at local cic office. The process took only about 15 minutes but the wait time was about 40 minutes. Also renewed my SIN there right after landing process.

The doctor office told me to use passport size photos, so you'll be fine.

Make a call to CIC and tell them you want to book an appointment for landing. They will ask where you are, and book at the nearest cic office. I am in Toronto, called last Friday, and I got a letter from cic office in Etobicoke on Wednesday schedule my landing on May 10th.

If you send it from Toronto, send it through xpressport is good enough. Mine took only one day to reach Ottawa and also from Ottawa to Toronto.

I just checked my tracking no. today. My passport was sent out yesterday evening and arriving today! So it takes about 3 weeks for my case. Passport reached Ottawa on March 26.
