Hi guys ,
I did my emedicals on march 12 and I called dmp to find out that when it was sent , they told me that it was sent two weeks from the it was done . I havnt heard anything from Cic neither my Ecas shows medicals received . Is there anyone in the same boat as me .

Hi Rick1111
My medical were arrived at CIC on April 4th, and the status from medical received was changed two days ago. There is no secret formula to this thing. You just have to wait. If you said that your medical were sent out two weeks from March 12, so I am guessing that CIC has received them around the same time, they received mine. So I would expect that you will see something on the ecas at the end of this week or maybe earlier.

Looking at the May applicant timeline, i guess that the time line was about two months after they received the medical, they issue that PR. If I was you, I would start worrying about my application, if nothing comes out in the middle of May. For now, sit and relax as we are all riding on the same June boat together :)

wow..

took 2 weeks to send out, plus couple days for the mailing journey, depending on where the DMP from... might end up arriving CIC office April something...

Maybe its just my med clinic's practice...they somehow managed to send out the med reports within 4-5 days after the med exam...in my case, med was done Mar 14 and they send out the report via FedEx on Mar 18...arrived CIC "mail room" Mar 20...great speed...

You are lucky, I was surprised to know that my dmp took two weeks to send/upload the medicals. I don't know how long more I have to wait for all this to finish . I hope to see ecas update by end of this week .

eMedical is supposed to be faster than traditional ones, but there are a few possibilities:

1. The whole eMedical thing is new to both CIC and DMPs and I guess it may be slower at the beginning.
2. The online status is often not updated in time. Many people got their PPR and online still shows "In Process".

Either way, it's still well within normal trends and don't worry too much. Just need to be a bit more patient until the good news come :)

Friends,

As mentioned already, I got my PPR on Friday. I am now planning to send the Passports today/tomorrow.

Sending from Toronto to Ottawa, which option would be better? Either through Courier or Canada Post?

If I choose to send my passports through courier to Ottawa, Do I still need to include 2 prepaid Canada Post envelopes? Both self addressed?

The delivery standard for Xpresspost is 1 day from Toronto to Ottawa, so I would say Canada Post is enough, but the choice is yours.

Did the PPR email requested for TWO envelopes?

Hey ganesh lets keep each other posted re the CoPR stage as I've got my PPR on Apr 11 as well...
I am from visa exempt country so I dont have to send CIC my original passport...comparing my CoPR timeline after submitting PP copies and your CoPR timeline after submitting original PP might give provide some interesting insights...

Thanks

If you send it from Toronto, send it through xpressport is good enough. Mine took only one day to reach Ottawa and also from Ottawa to Toronto.
