    I emailed IEC Ireland over a week ago and that's the response I got. I've emailed them again, to clarify that THEY are the people who claimed to be able to process these applications in 10 weeks and seeing as mine has not been processed, I would like to get an ETA on when I can expect an answer...

    Same here Dan, no reply from anyone other than the Canadian Consulate in NYC who confirmed they have my application and that it will be processed in line with the other applicants.

    Agreed Dan. The IEC 2013 mandate promised that all applications would be processed in 8 weeks, another unkept promise from the CIC. :(

    I was mostly curious as anyone who applied outside of Canada, had their application processed much quicker. It doesnt really make sense as you would think that they would put the priority on people who are living and working in the country. I hope to get it by next week, fingers crossed I guess.

    Still waiting on LOI here too. I`m an Irish citizen, I have applied for Permanent Residency and instead of applying for the BOWP, I applied for this as I was elligible. I recieved an email from CIC on Feb 8th to acknowledge my application, but have heard nothing since. Still waiting.....
