My status went from Application Received to Decision Made in one day. They sent me the PPR and I checked my ecas today, and it said decision made.

Guys , here is the news. I got my PPR today at 3:00 PM. I just sent the passports out now and am now sitting down and writing this to you guys. This is about 20 days from my RPRF request. So they seem to be working on the QSW applications after all. Best of luck guys Surya

Oh no ... i have seen on other FSW forums that they have asked for updated personal information ( if anything has changed in your family, babies or divorce etc) then they ask you send it over.

Hey Elham, Please enter your profile in the tracker in my signature. That way, you will be able to see timelines of others, other stats like time taken from AOR to Medical, Medical to PPR etc. Cheers Surya

Dounia, I did apply for mine. I think I applied first week of March, so I will probably only get it in june . Anand, Its like CIC is taunting Quebec to join express entry as well.

Just go on your vacation. They will usually give you atleast 30 days and you can always write back to them saying you are traveling and that you will do so as soon as you are back. That is not a problem. Enjoy your vacation.

My file was received May 2 , 2014 and it still says Application Received. And it only shows the two lines you mentioned.

Congratulations :) ... the ECAS doesnt usually have anything about RPRF ... the next update should be if they started processing your application. And the one afterwards is when they make a decision.

Yes, it should be activated within 2 weeks of you getting your AOR

Guys, I received my RPRF fee request today, no passport request yet. But atleast things are moving at Ottawa. Lets hope all of us hear something about our files. Cheers.

Apply for your PCC and while it is being processed, email CIC asking where to send it. They should reply back with where your file is.

an AOR means that your file is now in the system and is waiting on an officer to look at it and issue the next steps. The wording is a little confusing because your file is not officially in processing until your ECAS says so.

As someone in the US, i can think of a certain way this can be done. You can come as a dependent on your Husbands F1 or H1 visa ( Which ever is needed for the residency) and commute back and forth to canada. The visa is a multiple entry visa with no restrictions on how many times you leave or...

With the new rules, i think you have to send in your french results with your application.

I think it means that the list of AOT is applicable to applications that came in on or after january 26, but not before that.
