Yes, I did my first med in China, that's why they didn't extend it.

I also noticed an interesting thing. U got RPRF right after MER, and has been waiting so long since then. Most people waited more than 6 months for RPRF, and then PPR is very soon. Is it that the process sequence is different?

I think I applied in a very bad timing... that means after they asked me to pay RPRF,the quota of immigrants for 2014 had already been filled.so I had to wait for next year. When I finally got my quota, they found my med and PCC had expired already，they then asked me to redo this and redo that...the worst part was they didn't ask for these documents at a time and also they took a very long time to update these additional documents (they took a month for receiving my re-assessment of medical exam,even though I did my second med right after I received the email). That's why I'm still stuck here. My friends and I were signed the same officer and we're all in the same boat.

Hey Xris, I understand your frustration and I know how hard it is to wait. But on the other hand, I think your PPR should be on its way. I am hoping by June ( Possibly before June) you should hear something. Dont worry, go on with your life, forget about this for a while and I am sure youll be surprised at how fast things move.

One of my friends ordered his GCMS and shocked by the note, it says: "Requested Registry to locate the file. Once found,pls bring to XXXX(officer's number) then it should go to triaging."

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 23, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.

How long have you guys been waiting until the e-status changed to "in process"? And after that, how long should I expect to wait for the PPR?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 23, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.

How long have you guys been waiting until the e-status changed to "in process"? And after that, how long should I expect to wait for the PPR?

My file was received May 2 , 2014 and it still says Application Received. And it only shows the two lines you mentioned.

I'm in the same boat as well. Received on July 7, 2014. I heard that in some cases they never change the e-cas status to "in process" and that the next update was directly "decision made" (whenever that should happen ). So at this point, there's nothing we can do :/

hi guys it's been a long time i didn't check the forum, i have a question for you plz, as you know im waiting for the FBI background check which is is taking to long, i think we may get it end of may, but the thing is that were planing to go in a vacation first week of july and i know if its a good idea bc they may ask ask for our pass at that time and i dont know if they ask for it can we send it from where ever we are or it need to be sent from you current address???? do you have any idea what should we do ???

Just go on your vacation. They will usually give you atleast 30 days and you can always write back to them saying you are traveling and that you will do so as soon as you are back. That is not a problem. Enjoy your vacation.

Hi, I have done my medical last May 2014. I did not receive any decision about my application. I moved to the US one month ago. I sent an email to Sidney and Ottawa offices about my new address but they have not respond yet. Does anyone have any comment, suggestion?

Anyone applied in January 2014？ I've checked the tracker created by Suryak86 and found out I'm the only one who applied in January. It seems something happened to January applicants. My friends and I applied pretty much the same date in January, 5 of us have been asked to update or redo our personal information /PCC /new medical results.....the worst thing was cic didn't ask for these documents at a time, they asked for 3 times , each time asked for different docs,which was really a waste of time. I'm wondering what really happened there? Anyone has any idea?
