thanks!! do you know anything about form 1344, it has a section for a co-signer, but says on the instructions that if you are sponsoring a spouse you dont need a co-signer, but when im trying to validate the form, it says that ive left that section blank and its sending me there to fill it in...

So sponsorship processing times are different than PR times? because as i mentioned, the processing time for sponsorship is 26 months. was it longer before?

of course, the intention is to stay in Canada, but I meant is there a need for her to be here that whole time? do they require she be in Canada for the 26 months until she receives a verdict for the sponsorship? and can i apply for an open work permit without the pr/sponsorship application?

If i apply inland for her, because shes on a visit visa, which means she cant stay here more than 6 months without an extension, while the sponsorship is being processed, is she allowed to leave and come back? because when i looked up processing times for inland, it said 26 months.
