    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

http://www.parl.gc.ca/Default.aspx?Language=E Enter your postal code under "Find a Member of Parliament" and away you go. I identified myself as a concerned voter and citizen, referenced the recent CBC story, and simply said as someone with a personal stake in this by sponsoring my spouse the...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I've gotten my MP to make an enquiry on our file after complaining about the previously constantly shifting "normal processing" queue and the seemingly standstill from CPC-M. We'll see if that yields anything productive.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

They filed on the 6th though. I suspect CPC-M is still dark

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

signed the petition and also fired off an email to my MP and the Minister for Immigration expressing our distress over this processing queue.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Sounds like they just mindlessly read back the posted processing time. 9 months stage I + 8 months stage II

My bad, the "Reached CPC-M" thing confused me. Sorry RRSweet!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Sorry to be blunt, but that's expected. When almost everyone who submitted their applications 9-10+ months ago have had no progress noted, of course they're not going to be doing much 2014 files. I'd be interested to see what the case notes say on a July 2013 applicant; We've ordered ours.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Well if they're calling the PR applicant and not the sponsor, it may mean they've started Stage 2 in that case and........Forget it I'm going to give up trying to understand or predict CIC

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I called them today to ask about some supplemental documentation we submitted and got the same story after giving my UCI and file numbers: Expect some movement on the file between April 21st and May 26th, and call if nothing received after that........but I take anything the call centre says...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

The actual Dr appt is about $175, the rest is the cost of the xrays and bloodwork at the "recommended" offices

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Spoke to a local panel physician. They'll do an up-front on the eMed system, transmit the results to Ottawa, and give us a receipt with the file # to send to Vegreville so they can match it. About $300 for the exam, x-rays, and tests here in Vancouver.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hmmm we decided against doing the medical up-front with the application because of the processing times before when we sent in the file in July but now that they seem to be picking up the pace we're thinking of doing it before they approve my sponsorship and start on my wife's PR app to get...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Is this statement based on any previous similar circumstances? They certainly have a biiiiiig backlog to move through if they're only touching October/November 2012 apps now. Just don't want to get our hopes up for no reason.

    Foreign Service - Strike?

This. I'm not encouraged at all. A non-binding resolution, given the government's approach to the union thus far, seems pretty much useless.

That's the story I heard from a CIC call centre agent as well

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Wow, this seems like quite the sudden flurry of activity. Congrats to everyone getting good news. Maybe hope for us 2013'ers that the slowdown in Vegreville is being finally and rapidly addressed...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Howdy all. Joining the apparently ever changing inland waiting game, sponsoring my wife. Included police reports and OWP with app, not medical. Application sent to Vegreville: July 20, 2013 Application received: July 26, 2013 AOR (via email): August 22, 2013 ECAS went active for my client ID...
