They didn't accept my birth certificate issued by the Indian Embassy. To make things really interesting, they accepted the same of my friend (he isn't on the list here). In fact, they encashed his fees exactly in 7 days.

Yes, my application was returned. Having said that, my friend has applied with his BC issued by Indian Embassy, Houston. His CC has been charged within 7 days! So, it is very confusing.

I am very sad to learn that my application package was returned as it was incomplete. The reason being the unacceptable birth certificate. I don't have birth certificate as many of us do. I provided a birth certificate issued by Indian embassy here in Houston which was based on my passport...
