@ Chansealy I can fully understand your apprehension. But, I think your bank should be able to give you an update on the draft. Go to the bank with your bank draft number. Ask them to track the draft. I know Chase Bank can do it. Good luck.

No. They won't advise you if they have received your application. Now, they will check your package fir completeness and charge your cc (credit card) or encash your bd (bank draft). Usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. This is an indirect way of knowing that your application is now ready to process. You...

Believing and Stuart Please let me know when exactly your application was received at CIC. You can tell me if you have had a tracking number. Also, let me know the visa office (VO) you have mentioned in your application forms.

Not a problem. My pleasure. Try to call your bank's foreign transaction department. Tell them it is very important to know if the draft has been encased. They can tell you real ime.
