ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

Halted for how long? Does it make sense to apply for Express Entry now since I qualify under CEC?

All Existing PNP PR Applicants who are contemplating Express Entry

I'm an existing PR applicant who has been through a very confusing, non-transparent, and prolonged process via the Ontario PNP route. My AOR was in mid May this year and the latest update was Medical Received sometime in late July, but ever since then I have not been getting any updates till...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

My GCMS notes for the past three months have been the SAME! last date of entry was end July when my application got transferred over for QA. The lack of updates is really ridiculous.

    Can you extend a BWOP?

Given the rate that OPNP PR applications are being delayed, I'm worried about not getting PR by the time my current bridging open work permit expires mid next year. Is there any way to extend a BWOP? I was issued a 1 year PGWP after which I extended it with a subsequent 1 year BWOP...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

Quota reaching its limit now is expected. Last year the quota was reached in September, forcing me and many others to wait till Feb the following year to get the nomination! On another note, I'm seeing in other threads of AINP and BCPNP applicants getting recent Oct updates (i.e. AOR, In...

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

I agree, why don't they focus on clearing the backlog of PNP applicants (of which they used to claim to have the fastest processing times out of all the streams) instead of complicating their workload and introducing a brand new stream which would slow down the processing times for the other...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

I doubt CEC has a 6 month processing time? All my friends who applied via CEC had a processing time between 11-13 months.

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

Wait for EE since it has the fastest processing time of less than 6 months (or so it claims but it is worth the gamble). Or if you don't mind the hassle and the costs, apply for a, b and c then you'll just have to wait for a, b, c or d, whichever one comes first you'll get the PR. Perhaps if you...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

I agree. That is why I think the best and only option if PNP stalls till next year is to make a separate Express Entry application once it opens up. It'll be like putting two horses in a race, PNP v. Express Entry haha.

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

Details on how to apply for Express Entry haven't been posted. Since ON PNP called to verify whether we are working, those of us holding full time jobs might be automatically transferred to Express Entry? Although I think this is unlikely given how inflexible or archaic their processing system...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

They are not phasing out CEC I think. Express entry seems like a hybrid of PNP and CEC, for people who are already provincially nominated or hold a full time job the processing time will be faster according to their website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/express/express-entry.asp I'm...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

Perhaps... for those of us who are holding a full-time job now and are pending QA, CIC will process us via the Express Entry route this Jan? Or is this wishful thinking?

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

I'm in the same boat as all of y'all. I just received my latest GCMS notes as of late Sep and there has been no updates since Jul 24 when my file went to "Destination Ontario - Officer Review". To think the last time I saw my notes I thought that meant that my file was finally going to be...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

EXACTLY, what I have been frustrated about for the longest time. Why target only ON applicants for QA when other provinces have the same grad without job offer PNP programs. It is extremely bias. Also what happened to the "promise" from provincial and federal level that PNP has the fastest...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

Thanks for your advice. Express Entry claims to have a faster processing time (6 months or less) than CEC and besides I am holding a full time job now so I should qualify for Express Entry when it opens up. Also, I'm still clinging onto a thread of hope that my PNP PR application will move to IP...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

This is just splendid! My bridging open work permit expires mid next year, how am I supposed to continue working if I can't apply for another bridging open work permit? Time to abandon my PNP PR application apply via Express Entry in Jan!

    Ontario FSW Pilot

Based on the timeline, for those of us who were contacted for additional information/documents mean that we are entering "Phase 2" of the processing?

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

I have accumulated more than a year of work experience in a qualified occupation in Ontario so I can apply for CEC anytime now. Who knows how long this QA exercise will go on for, and even after it is over, there will be an avalanche of ON PNP PR application backlog that CIC will have to deal...

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

Why QA only ON PNP applicants then? Don't other provinces' PNP programs also have no-job-offer streams?

ON PNP-reference letter needed for verification-after PPR?

We have very similar timelines, except I was selected for QA haha. Does your ECAS reflect "medicals received" or "IP"?
