Health Insurance during Temp Work Permit

I had to purchase one because my work permit expired and I lost the health insurance from Alberta the 1st of January and bought it here http://www.safevisit.ca/ Everything is done online and I'm paying 122 per month. The good thing is that you can buy it for one month and renew it before the...

Work permit getting close to expiry, but still waiting for AOR

Apply a couple of days before your work permit expires via paper. That'll give you 80 days to get your AOR which should be enough. If your work permit expires and you haven't applied for a new one before that, you'll lose your worker status and you won't be able to apply for the open work permit.

Maybe I'm wrong (because I've read a lot of different things in this forum), but you can only apply for a BOWP if you current WP hasn't expired yet. In your case you should probably try to apply under young professionals and, if you get it, apply for the BOWP after being 8 months here (you can...

Not have T4 for the qualifying Work Exp

You just want to be right even when CIC checklist says that something isn't mandatory. End of story.

Not have T4 for the qualifying Work Exp

And that's exactly what I said on my message But I insist that CIC doesn't say that it's mandatory to send T4 slips to apply for CEC. We aren't talking about what's the best thing to do, we are talking about wether it is or it isn't a requirement to send T4 slips with the CEC application. You...

Not have T4 for the qualifying Work Exp

Actually no, you don't need T4 but it's preferred by CIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5610E.pdf point 10: T4 and NOA OR 'a sufficient combination of other supporting documentation, which could include copies of a record or letter of employment from the employer in Canada, work...

Help! WP extension refused because of no LMO. AOR hasn't received yet.

Then get the LMIA if you want to stay in Canada. You can always quit your job in the near future :) I was thinking the same, that you can only get the BOWP if you have a valid work permit or are in implied status. But I've seen so many people talking about getting the BOWP after getting a...
